Flight

Our best friend takes flight on Monday night,
Off to a place far from sight,
She soon will be high as a kite,
While we on the ground feel no delight.
As the flames of emotion begin to ignite,
I hope that everything will be alright.
Goodbye Mea so long and farewell,
Hopefully next time our plans go well,
Dude had an affair that he could not repel,
While Zue had a lot of baby clothes to sell.
Before you leave on your flying ship,
I'd just like to say have a safe trip. =D

See you around, Mea.

Typing

Right, so just now my dad gave me an assignment. Well, I volunteered, so I guess it's not really an ASSIGNMENT. But still. xD So basically, I have to type out a 336 page manuscript. Cool, now I actually have something to do! I think it's for my dad's university, they have the hard copy, in fact, that's what I have to type out. xD I have to type it out because the don't have the soft copy. My dad said I should be paid about RM3-RM5 per page! Wheeeee! Lol. Well, so far I've typed 14 pages, approximately 3000 words. Well, ONLY 322 pages to go! =D I really shouldn't be posting on my blog since it'll probably mess up my momentum, but what the heck. Here you go!xD Well, back to typing! Till next time! =D

Occurences of the day

So today, I woke up at about 7am, and thought about my conversation with a friend the
night before. My friends planned to go to an Education Fair at PWTC by train at around 10am. I was almost certain that there was no way for me to go, but I decided to try anyway. So I asked my parents, and surprisingly, they agreed to drop me off at the Serdang KTM station. I'd never travelled alone before, I figured It'd be an interesting experience. So, I called one of my friends, and asked her to inform me when she was about to board. I had a plan on how we all could get on the same train even if we were starting off at different stations.

So when I got to the Serdang KTM station, I bought my ticket, then waited for the train to arrive. I called my friend and asked where she was. She just got to the UKM KTM Station. So that meant that she didn't leave yet. Alright, so 5 minutes later the train arrived at the station I was at. Everyone started rushing to get on board. Everyone but me. I was there casually sitting on the bench. I deliberately missed this train simply because I wanted to be on the same train as my friends. Some of my friends were going via the Bangi KTM Station, some by UKM, and I alone by the Serdang KTM Station. Basically, the train will pass Bangi first, then UKM, then Serdang at some point. So if I timed it correctly, I shouldn't have any problems getting on the same train as them.

Eventually, I got a message from my friend saying that she just boarded the train. So I knew they'd be on the next train which would probably arrive in about 15 minutes. I looked around me and saw at least 30 people, probably a lot more, I'm not sure. I knew it'd be hard to board with that many people pushing to get in. Oh well. Soon, the train arrived, and the doors opened to reveal a wall of people. Crap, it looked impossible. Some people went out, others went in. What sucked was almost everyone got in except for me. Most of the doors had already closed by that time, and I had no intention of waiting for the next train. I stopped the last door from closing, and forced my way in. It looked impossible, but somehow I made it in.

Phew. The door closed, and I saw 2 of my friends not far from me. Great, we were on the same train! But then, one station later, they got off. They looked surprised when I remained on the train. Apparently, they were going another way. Taking the LRT there instead of the KTM. There's like a transition at that station. Well, that sure defeated the purpose of me intentionally missing the first train. Whatever. So there I was. Standing in an extremely packed train, with no friends. Cool, that's new. And at least now I think it's safe to say that I know what it's like to be canned sardines. Lol. After a few stations, the train reached the Mid Valley KTM Station, and almost half of all of the passengers got out. That felt great! I could actually look at my watch without having any physical contact with anyone! Great! Anyway, about 10 minutes later.....maybe less.....I reached my destination. Putra KTM station.

So from there, it's a short walk to PWTC. I just followed the people in front of me and eventually found the place. I waited for my friends in front of a McDonald's nearby since they hadn't arrived yet. They got there soon enough, and we sat at a table at McDonald's for a while. I sat with Zue's bro(Khairul), and Hazwan. Zue sat with her friend Saidatul at a table nearby, and Syahanaz and Puteri were nowhere to be seen. Lol. Well, we all eventually walked around the different booths of various universities. I walked with Hazwan while Zue walked with Saidatul, and Syahanaz walked with Puteri. After about 2 hours of walking around, filling forms, listening to short talks and meeting some freaky people, we all left the hall. Well, all of us except for Puteri and Syahanaz. I asked Zue where they were, and Zue said that they left after about half an hour and took the KTM to Mid Valley. I was like WHAAAAAAT?! REALLY?! HAHAHA. Anyway, me, Hazwan, Zue and Saidatul went down the escalators and walked out of the building. Well, at least until Zue and Saidatul were stopped by some guy in tights to take a picture for something or something like that.

So Hazwan and I walked first, then they caught up after a few minutes. I never knew they could walk at such a high speed!xD So they went to grab a bite at McDonald's, while Hazwan accompanied me to buy an LRT ticket to go home. I bought the ticket, then walked back to McDonald's only to find long lines and full tables. We decided to find somewhere else to eat, and agreed on Secret Recipe. We called Zue to tell her, then she came with her brother after a few minutes holding a McDonald's plastic bag in her hand. "No outside food allowed" was shown on the clear glass window of Secret Recipe, but I couldn't care less. Saidatul had already gone home , so only the four of us remained. A guy joined two tables for us to sit at, round tables mind you, so they didn't exactly join well. Hazwan and I placed our orders, and Khairul and Zue ate their McDonald's.

After finishing our meals, and a very, very short photo session conducted by Zue while we were still eating, we had to wait for the bill to arrive. It took at least 10 minutes. Zzzzzz...I paid for the meal, then we all headed towards the LRT station. We scanned our tickets, went up the stairs, and waited for the train. After about 5 minutes, we were set to board. My, oh my, the LRT was MUCH better than the KTM. It wasn't nearly as packed and I actually got to sit! We all got to sit. at the very front too. =D We waited a few stations before we had to transit to another train, got onto the other train, and waited some more. On that LRT, I saw something fascinating. A guy, probably in his late twenties, was working out using the bars to hold on to in the train! He seemed to be well built, but what was disturbing was the fact that he was doing this in front of a mirror! I stared at him for a while, then it was time for him to leave. Oh well.

We waited about another 5 minutes before we reached the next transition, which was the Bandar Tasik Selatan KTM Station. So from there, I had to buy a one way ticket to Serdang, which was only one station away. Hazwan purchased it for me using the ticket machine, then we walked to wait for the train. It would have been easier if I just bought a two way ticket when I first boarded the KTM to go to PWTC, but I forgot to tell the person that. xD Nevertheless, I believe that wouldn't have been nearly as fun! Lol. Well, the train arrived, and once again I was face with a wall of people. Zue went into the women's coach, while Khairul, Hazwan and I forced our way into the other coach. Once again, miraculously we all made it in. They were all bound for the Bangi Station, I was the only one getting out at Serdang. Soon, it was time for me to get off. I shook hands with Hazwan and Khairul in the midst of the amazing crowd, and walked out.

From there, I took a taxi back home. Phew! What a day. I reached my house at around 5pm, and had to tutor some kids Malay at 6-7pm. I took a short nap, got up, went to teach them, walked back home(very close by)and did whatever else that was necessary. Well, I guess that sums it up for now. Thanks for today you guys! (Note, please do not misinterpret my usage of the word "guy". It can also refer to the opposite gender when speaking in such a general way). Oh, and I didn't plan on when to start a new paragraph, I just thought it'd make it easier for you to read. xD Till next time!=D

Chocolate Rolls

Okay, so just now I went to the shop downstairs to buy some stuff. Let's see.....a 9-volt battery for the clock in the living room, some cashew nuts and some peanuts. That was the list. After gathering all of these things, I went to look at the pastry section and saw that there were Chocolate Rolls on display among the variety of pastries. I felt like chocolate at the time, so I decided to get one. So the shopkeeper, Mr. Andy, helped me put it in a paper bag and asked whether I wanted it heated up. I said no, simply because I didn't want to wait. Right, so he packed the stuff, I paid, took the stuff and left. Holding a plastic bag in one hand, and a paper bag containing the chocolate roll in the other, I walked down the stairs wondering why he didn't just put it in the plastic bag. That would've made it easier to carry. Oh well. I ate the pastry as I walked, and.......it was surprisingly warm. I thought to myself perhaps the rolls on display weren't that cold to begin with. Yeah, that's it. So I walked on munching happily. When I got to the elevator that led to my house, I had already finished my pastry, so I threw away the paper bag, and walked into the elevator. Man, that was good. When I got home, as I unpacked the stuff from the plastic bag, I saw that there was another paper bag in it. Cool, it was a Chocolate Roll. Wait a minute, CHOCOLATE ROLL? I just had mine! It was then that I realised that the warm Chocolate Roll I ate wasn't actually mine. THIS one was. I took someone elses by mistake! xD So I went back to the shop to return it. Perfect timing. A guy just walked into the shop complaining that his Chocolate Roll was missing in action when he got home. So I walked in, told him that he gave me two Chocolate Rolls, returned the extra, and walked back home. So.......... I got to eat a deliciously warm pastry without having to wait for it to be heated up! xD That was cool. Well, that's all I have to say for now. Till next time!
