Mostly about work

I'm now blogging and watching Rugrats at the same time!xD It's been a while since I last watched it. I still remember the episodes pretty well. Lol. Now what to write about.....hmmm....well, today Firdaus and I went to get our pay at Marriott Hotel. We only worked for ONE DAY! xD They pay us RM5 an hour, and we worked for 9 hours, so we both got RM45 each. I guess it's a pretty decent rate, but I don't think it's worth all the work and crap we have to go through. A lot of the people (workers) there think they're far superior and can just push us around. Besides, I can't keep my parents waiting till midnight or possibly later for me to come home. So that's definitely the first and the last time I'm gonna work there....well....at least in the banquet department. If there's a spot for housekeeping, I think it'd be fun! xD Provided that the working hours aren't late like the banquet of course. Anyway, I feel like getting another job. Maybe work at different places like 3 or 4 times a week. Just to experience the different atmospheres. Though not sure where I'm gonna find one. Lol. Oh, but I must say I totally disagree with the "part time" worker system. I don't know if it's supposed to be like this, but even if it is, I'm still against it. Lol. Basically, the only difference between part time and full time is that full time workers are permanent, and part time workers are temporary. I thought part time workers would get to work less hours, and also less days depending on what the part time worker wants. I mean, most of them are just people who just finished SPM and want to do something because they have nothing to do at home (like myself). Some of my friends are working around 10 hours a day (not including overtime) EVERY SINGLE DAY. That doesn't sound much like part time to me. I don't know, maybe my whole concept of what part time is is completely wrong, but I just think that it should be less of a burden. Other than that....hmm....well there's nothing much really. Just hope to get my drivers license as soon as possible. Preferably by the time SPM results come out. Yeah, well I guess that's it for now. Damn it, these mosquitoes are killing me. -.- Till next time.

Oh crap.......I think I'm thinking too much again.

So, I was sitting in my room playing guitar just now when suddenly, images of people I miss shot into my mind. So I stopped playing for a while, and entertained my thoughts while staring at the wall. Let's see.....there was Mea, Zue, Puteri, Zahidah, Syahanaz.....wait a minute.....why were they all GIRLS? Why don't I miss any guys? So I went through the list of my good friends in my mind and realised that actually, most of the people in my circle of good friends were indeed girls. In fact, there are only 2 guys who I'm really close to, one of which I always hang out with. That would explain why all the people I miss are girls. What of the other guy, you might ask? Well, for him it's usually out of sight, out of mind, so I don't really bother anymore. Then I thought to myself, WHY are most of my good friends girls, when I'm a guy? Is it a normal thing? So that got me thinking again. Is it because I'm sexually attracted to them? No, that's not it (Not that they aren't attractive. They're all lovely, mind you). It's simply because of their amazing personalities. They're just the kind of people I feel comfortable around. In fact, I wouldn't mind travelling the world with them. xD But then, why is it that most of the guys in my class hang out with...well....most of the other guys in my class? Why don't I? Actually, I do. Sometimes, at least. It's just that I don't think of all of them as my closest friends. Friends, yes. Definitely. But not CLOSEST. So why is it? I remember my brother having a lot of good guy friends, but not girls. Why don't I? Then I thought of something. I guess times have changed. Most of the guys now are interested in smoking, hitting on girls...you know....stuff like that. I choose not to get involved, so they just remain my friends. Not my closest friends. Also, they don't really mind whether we meet or not. Like I said before, out of sight, out of mind. Though, I must admit. I like having friends like them. I wouldn't have it any other way. Since school ended, I've met most of my guy friends only once. That was all thanks to one of my classmates inviting all of us to play futsal. Even then, a few didn't show up. But that was it. Haven't heard from any of them since. I mentioned earlier that I love my good friends because of their amazing personalities. I'm not saying that the other guys don't, it's just that....well.....there's this quote that goes something like this, "A true friend is the person who walks in when the rest of the world walks out." Yeah. I just don't see most of them as the person who'd walk in. Anyway, that's all I have to say for now. Gonna go read the drivers handbook. I'll be tested on the rules of the road/driving tomorrow. Till next time.

Just because.

When boredom takes over your brain.........

...........find something to do. Something like posting in your blog if you have one. Lol. Anyway, I tried going on Facebook to rid me of my boredom, but it didn't help. None of my good friends were online to chat with. Also, the number of notifications I receive every time I log in has really taken a nose dive. Well, so much for that. Speaking of Facebook, I just remembered that I haven't watched The Social Network yet. I planned on going a couple of weeks ago, but the movie was no longer showing in cinemas. I guess not many people wanted to watch it, that's why it was rather short lived. *sigh* Oh well, looks like I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD. Hmmm....what else? Well, yesterday wasn't boring at all. Went out with two of my friends, Aqil and Firdaus, to Alamanda. We played a few games of bowling, then went to book tickets for Paranormal Activity 2. I don't really watch horror movies. In fact, I can only remember ever watching 3 horror movies in my entire life. I didn't mind though, I thought it'd be fun since my friends were really up for it. While waiting for the show, we went to Karaoke for an hour! That was REALLY fun. Aqil only sang one song in the end, but Firdaus and I......we sang about 15. Our throats kind of hurt after that, but it was worth it. Singing our hearts out and jumping around like crazy on the table and sofa. xD After that, we went to buy popcorn, then it was off to the cinema. We entered the cinema 10 minutes late, but we didn't miss a lot thanks to the commercials. So we took our seats, dug into our popcorn, and would occasionally jerk suddenly in shock. xD After the movie, we all went back to Aqil's place and spent the night there. Then today, my mom picked me up from his house at around 2pm, then went to buy food since we were having guests over. So, guests came......talked.....ate.....guests left......which brings us back to NOW. Yes. Boredom. Anyway, I think I'm feeling a little less bored after typing all this. So....it's time for me to find something else to do. Till next time! =D
